1 year agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck (illness) will be available for Friday's contest against Seattle. He's been battling an illness, which initially left Hellebuyck with a question mark ahead of Friday's matchup, but he's officially good to go. However, it's not completely clear who will guard the crease for Winnipeg on Friday. It's the beginning of a back-to-back for the team, and backup Laurent Brossoit might get the first game. A meeting with Vancouver will follow on Saturday. Hellebuyck has performed at an elite level throughout the campaign, going 29-13-3. He's allowed two or fewer goals in 25 of his past 37 starts, registering a 2.29 goals-against average for the season with a .922 save percentage and three shutouts.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced en route to defeating the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday evening. The Jets had a significant advantage in the shot total, but Hellebuyck was able to stand up when called on. His lone blemish came in the second frame when Thomas Chabot beat him with a wrist shot. This outing extended the team's record to an incredible 11 games and Hellebuyck's win record to eight games. During this eight-game stretch, the 31-year-old has held a strong .922 save percentage with a 1.99 GAA. He has only allowed three or more goals in two of these contests and allowed one or less in three. Fantasy managers should expect Eric Comrie to get the nod on the back-to-back contest on Thursday night, which sets up Hellebuyck to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday evening.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

1 month agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck will be in the crease for Wednesday's tilt against the Ottawa Senators. Hellebuyck will look to extend his season-best winning streak to eight games. The 31-year-old has performed exceptionally well throughout the campaign, posting a 35-7-1 record while allowing 2.04 goals. He has logged a .925 save percentage with six shutouts. Another winning effort is expected from Hellebuyck on Wednesday, as the Senators are on a four-game skid and lack firepower due to injuries. Hellebuyck saved 33 of 35 shots when these teams had their first meeting of the season, helping the Jets grab a 4-2 victory.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck (rest) will return to action in Monday's matchup against the San Jose Sharks. After helping Team USA reach the final of the 4 Nations Face-Off, Hellebuyck was rested when the Jets continued their season on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues. It has been a remarkable year for Hellebuyck, who leads the league in several goalie categories. He holds a 34-7-2 record with six shutouts, having posted a 2.07 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage. Leading up to Monday's game, Hellebuyck has gone 10-1-0 in his last 11 starts with the Jets.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck will stay between the sticks for Team USA for Saturday's 4 Nations Face-Off matchup against Canada. Hellebuyck has been exceptional for Winnipeg throughout the NHL season and also began the 4 Nations Face-Off with a remarkable performance. He ended Thursday's 6-1 win over Finland with 20 saves and a .952 save percentage. Along with his results in the Jets crease, Connor Hellebuyck is currently on an 11-1-0 run. He has allowed two or more goals only three times during the streak. However, Hellebuyck faces a very challenging matchup on Saturday against Canada's world-class offensive talent.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
