Chris Archer Has High Upside
7 years agoChris Archer appears as if he will start the season with Tampa Bay, despite an offseason which saw his name linked to trade speculation frequently. He has pitched over 200 innings each of the past three seasons and has struck out at least 233 batters in each season. The troubling part is that his ERA has been just over 4 the last two seasons and his win-loss record has been 19-31 those two seasons. He has the potential of an ace and if he is traded to a top contender, his value could go even higher. He is a high SP2 who could become an SP1 if he can find a way to win more than 12 games for the first time in his career.
