4 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (hip) suffered a hip injury in Sunday's game, which rendered him unable to come back and compete. According to Shams Charania, Holmgren will have to miss at least eight to 10 weeks with a right-iliac hip fracture. The timeframe of eight to 10 weeks is set just to give a return-to-play protocol, so he'll likely be out even longer than that. This unfortunate news comes when Holmgren and the Thunder are tied for the top seed in the West with an 8-2 record. He was averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.6 blocks, 1.4 threes, and 2.3 turnovers per game. With Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) still out and Jaylin Williams (hamstring) suffering a setback, Ousmane Dieng and Kenrich Williams (knee) are the only bigs on the depth chart.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
