Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott will start 18th in this week's Grant Park 165 at the Chicago Street Course. This is the highest start position for Elliott at the site, but the lowest at a road or street course this season. In his only start at Chicago last year in the Cup Series, Elliott started 26th, obtained plenty of positive Place Differential, and finished third. Through 19 races so far in the 2024 season, Elliott has one win, nine top-10 finishes, and remains the only driver in the field to place in the Top 20 of every race. In practice, Elliott ranked 14th of all drivers in five consecutive lap averages and seventh in single-lap times. With favorable PD upside, top-notch equipment, and some of the best road course history, Elliott is one of the better options to consider for any DFS contest at Chicago this week.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
