Chase Elliott was visibly agitated on Saturday. Though he improved from 29th to 12th, his Hendrick Motorsports Racing car never led a lap or came close. After the second stage, it appeared Elliott was in position but just could not capitalize on anything. He was briefly in the top ten but lost the groove twice later in the race and that kept him down in 12th -- where he finished. A lot of lessons were learned as Elliott got mired in traffic as well. He had some solid sub-54 second laps but could not sustain enough clean air. Maybe starting 9th on Sunday will help. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
