Chase Daniel, Bears Lose In Overtime
6 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Chase Daniel completed 26 of 39 passes for 285 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Bears 30-27 loss to the Giants in overtime. Daniel shook off a horrible pick-six on the second play of the game to lead the Bears on an epic comeback with 1:49 to play and down by 10 points. But it was too little too late for an offense that struggled with protection issues and poor snaps from center Cody Whitehair. Daniel has stepped in admirably in his two starts for the Bears in place of starter Mitch Trubisky but the expectation is that the veteran Daniel will head back to the bench in Week 14 against the Rams.
