Charlie Lindgren Shuts Out Jets
9 months agoWashington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren kept the Jets grounded on Sunday, recording a 27-save shutout in a 3-0 win. It's his fifth shutout of the season, which puts Lindgren tied for the third spot in the league behind Arizona's Connor Ingram and Pittsburgh's Tristan Jarry. Lindgren has given a major boost to the Capitals, who have come back from the dead to re-enter the playoff race in the Eastern Conference. The 30-year-old is on an 8-3-0 run this month, allowing only 2.22 goals with a .923 save percentage.
