Charlie Lindgren Makes Second Consecutive Start
10 months agoWashington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren will get the nod for a second consecutive game on Thursday against Tampa Bay. He's been splitting starts with Darcy Kuemper lately, but Lindgren will remain between the pipes on Thursday after impressing in the previous contest. Washington beat New Jersey 6-2 on Tuesday, with Lindgren saving 37 of 39 shots for a .949 save percentage. It's the second-most saves he's had in a game this season. Lindgren holds an 11-8-4 record for the season and has allowed 2.62 goals with a .915 save percentage and three shutouts.
