Charley Hoffman, currently the 23rd-ranked golfer in the official World Golf rankings, finishing in 20th place at the WGC-Mexico Championship. In doing so, he shot a bogey-free opening-round 66 but struggled the other three rounds. Aside from finishing second at the Hero World Challenge, which is a very limited field, Hoffman has not placed inside the top 20 of a tournament in 2018. Overall, he is playing great golf but needs to overcome some struggles at the Valspar Championship, as he has never placed inside the top 10 at this event and has missed four of 11 cuts. If he is in your lineup, he can be considered high-risk with limited reward.--Drake Peaugh
