6 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Chad Bettis left Sunday's start with a "hot spot" on his right middle finger, according to the Rockies. This is not a blister, but it is an injury that gives him trouble gripping the ball. Bettis has had trouble with a hot spot earlier this season, and should be considered day-to-day for now. There should be updates on his status in the next few days regarding his next start.--Feldman Zach
