Cesar Hernandez Ignites Philadelphia In Miami
7 years agoAlways the leadoff man that gets his offense going, Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez did so once again on Wednesday in what would turn out to be a 6-0 victory against Miami at Marlins Park. The 28-year-old led off the game with a solo home run to center, giving ace Aaron Nola all the run support he would need. Hernandez would record a second hit, coming around to score in the ninth inning as well. The Venezuelan is hitting .284 as the Phillies ended their losing streak at four games.
