Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith will make his 30th start of the season on Thursday against Buffalo. He has a 14-11-5 record so far with a 2.86 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. DeSmith has yet to allow fewer than three goals in eight starts since the turn of the year, but the Sabres are without Jack Eichel (suspension) and they haven't scored a single goal in two consecutive games. Pittsburgh are on a nice run as well, winning five of their last six games, so DeSmith looks to be in a good spot to earn another W.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
