For the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway, Carson Hocevar will start in the 19th position, which is an improvement over his starting position during the spring race (25th). In his only previous Cup start at Richmond earlier in the year, Hocevar finished one lap down in the 27th position. In four starts at the site in the Truck Series, Hocevar has two top-10 finishes, four finishes with positive Place Differential, and one win. After 22 races completed this season, Hocevar has 13 top-20 finishes, including seven of the last eight Cup events. In practice, Hocevar ranked 13th in overall lap averages.
