Carlos Gomez Has New Opportunity In New Home
7 years agoCarlos Gomez has been an enticing fantasy player who was a superstar back in 2013 & 2014. In those two seasons, he combined for 47 home runs and 74 steals with a .284 average in both seasons. He has since struggled and not played more than 118 games in any of the past three seasons while playing for three teams. He still has interesting fantasy talent, though the batting average has taken a hit. Playing with the Rays, he seems to have a good path to regular playing talent so 20-20 is possible. He should be owned in most leagues outside of shallow 10-team formats with only three starting outfield spots.
