4 months agoNew York Mets pitcher Carlos Carrasco is looking to build on two consecutive excellent starts as he takes on the Atlanta Braves on the road Tuesday night. While Carrasco allowed five runs or more in three of his first four starts this season, he's also allowed two earned runs or fewer in three of his last four, including just one earned run allowed in each of his last two outings while logging at least six innings on both occasions. While he's turned his season around of late, the 36-year-old still sports a bloated 5.74 ERA while his 6.09 FIP, 5.40 SIERA, and tiny 13.9% K% leave plenty to be desired. He'll take on a dangerous Braves offense that is tied for 11th with a .324 wOBA against right-handed pitching this season.--Brenton Kemp - RotoBaller
