Caleb Martin Rejoins Heat Lineup On Thursday
1 year agoMiami Heat guard/forward Caleb Martin (knee) is officially good to go for Thursday's matchup against Brooklyn. The 28-year-old has been listed as available for the first time since opening night. Martin started the campaign with a poor two-point effort against Detroit, shooting only 1-for-7 from the field. As he showed in the 2023 playoffs, the 28-year-old is capable of doing much better, and Tyler Herro's (ankle) injury has given a chance for somebody to step up in the Heat rotation. However, with him being on the shelf for three weeks, it's unclear how big of a role Martin will have coming back in. Additionally, Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra has very little reason to change his plans after guiding the team to six consecutive victories.
