Cal Raleigh Stays Hot On Friday
5 months agoSeattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh stayed hot in his team's 6-5 loss to the Los Angeles Angels in 10 innings on Friday. Raleigh went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk, and two RBI but it wasn't enough in the one-run loss. The veteran catcher has been swinging a hot bat of late, hitting .414 with five homers and 10 RBI over his past seven contests. On the year, Raleigh is batting .218 with 20 homers, 40 runs, 61 RBI, and five steals over 307 at-bats. Despite the low batting average, Raleigh has emerged as one of the top offensive catchers in fantasy. After setting a career-high in homers with 30 last season, Raleigh is on pace to smash that record in 2024.
