Buddy Hield is Expected to Remain on the Bench
5 years agoSacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield was moved from the starting five to the second unit 10 games before the All-Star break. The Kings went 6-4 in those contests and Hield is playing very well off the bench. He's averaging 22.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists off the bench. He's still playing close to 30 minutes a game and remains a professional about the situation. "Whatever they want me to do, whether I like it or not, I’ve got to come here as a professional and do my job and stay locked in and win ballgames," said Hield. The Kings have been actually winning games and Hield is performing well off the bench. He's probably not trilled about it, but Hield's fantasy value should remain reliable for the rest of the season.
