Bryce Miller Scheduled to Begin a Rehab Assignment on Friday
Bryce Miller (elbow), is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, per MLB.com. Friday will be Miller's first game action since June 6, and the Mariners are reportedly targeting 55 pitches for the 26-year-old in this start. He will likely make two, perhaps three rehab starts before re-joining the Mariners rotation. Once he returns, Logan Evans is likely the odd man out to be sent back to Triple-A. That being said, it's been tough sledding for Miller in 2025; he has a 5.73 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and a 39/23 K/BB ratio in 48 2/3 innings pitched. Pretty far removed from his breakout campaign in 2024, where he had a 2.94 ERA in 180 1/3 innings pitched. Miller is worth a stash if he was dropped in your leagues, and those that have him stashed on their IL should view it as a pleasant surprise if you can get a few solid starts down the stretch as we head towards fantasy playoffs after a lost season for Miller, for the most part.
