10 months agoPittsburgh Penguins right wing Bryan Rust is being evaluated for an upper-body injury following Sunday's 7-6 win over Philadelphia. Rust had an outstanding game with two goals and an assist but logged only 14:57 of action. The Penguins are just about to head out for a four-game road trip, and it's now unclear if Rust will travel with the team. If he's out, Rust would exit the lineup in the midst of a hot streak. The 31-year-old has notched seven goals and nine points in nine outings this month. He's tallied 36 points (18 goals, 18 assists) in 42 games for the season. Newly acquired Emil Bemstrom could land in a dream spot next to Sidney Crosby on the first line if Rust isn't available.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
