2 years agoNew York Islanders center Brock Nelson suffered an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's big 7-2 victory over Toronto. He was injured in the first period on a check by Noel Acciari. The team should provide an update on Nelson prior to Friday's clash with Columbus. The Islanders will be desperate to get some good news, with Nelson having been the team's main offensive catalyst this season. He tops the goals list with 30 markers and has produced a team-high 65 points in 72 games. The team has already lost one key offensive piece in Mathew Barzal (lower body) and times would become very worrying if Nelson gets sidelined as well.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
