6 months agoBoston Red Sox infielder Brock Holt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Padres. Holt's solo shot in the top of the ninth gave Boston the go-ahead 5-4 lead. It was his second home run of the week but just the third of the year. Despite the lack of power, Holt has been solid offensively, batting .315 with an .842 OPS this year to go with his three homers and 24 RBI. However, Michael Chavis (shoulder) is due to return soon from his injured list stint, so Holt's playing time could become more spotty as the season winds down. He doesn't deserve any fantasy consideration outside of AL-only formats.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
