Brian Robinson Jr. Leads Backfield In Return From Injury
12 months agoWashington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. had nine carries for 44 yards along with four receptions for 32 yards during Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. After missing his last two games due to a hamstring injury, Robinson returned to action and led Washington's backfield in rushing. Although it wasn't a massive total, the second-year back made the most of his opportunities as he ran efficiently against a tough San Francisco run defense. With an upcoming matchup against the division rival Dallas Cowboys, Robinson will aim to end his second season on a high note in Week 18.
