Brian Goodwin In 2-For-27 Slump
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin will bat leadoff as the team takes on the Rays on Saturday. Goodwin is scuffling at the plate, going 2-for-27 over his last seven games and is hitting only .193 over his last 15. After slugging .667 in the month of August, Goodwin is limping his way to the finish line. It has been, however, a surprisingly solid year for the journeyman. He may not be able to help fantasy rosters down the stretch but his 16 home runs and 27 doubles certainly should earn him a look in someone's starting lineup next season.
