Brian Anderson Likely To Make Opening Day Roster
Brian Anderson is likely to earn himself the third base gig on Opening Day in 2018. Anderson has had his ups-and-downs throughout his minor league career, but had a nice season between Double-A and Triple-A last season where he hit .275 with 22 home runs and 81 RBI. That led to a big league promotion towards the end of the 2017 campaign. Over that time in 84 at-bats, Anderson .261 with no home runs and struck out 28 times. Anderson should be able to get at-bats for the Marlins this year, but aside from NL-only leagues, he is not someone who is a must-draft.
