St. Louis Blues winger Brandon Saad scored his seventh goal of the season during the club's 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Saturday night. The veteran forward also had five shots on net. On the downside, Saad has provided just one assist through 13 games and has become a very one-dimensional player in recent years with just 22 assists over the past three seasons spanning more than 100 games. But with five 20+ goal seasons, he can be counted on for scoring goals — and recording a healthy number of shots — in fantasy hockey. Another veteran forward, David Perron, assisted on the goal. He now has nine assists and 15 points in 17 games but has been struggling lately after a hot start to the year. He hasn't scored a goal in 12 games. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
