8 months agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Brandon Pfaadt had a rollercoaster night in Monday's 5-3 loss against the St. Louis Cardinals. Pfaadt pitched 5 ⅓ innings while allowing two hits, and two runs with three walks and four strikeouts. The 25-year-old pitcher has been able to mellow out the runs in recent starts but still has an ERA of 4.97 in 29 innings pitched with 17 runs, four homers, six walks, and 27 strikeouts. He will be facing the Seattle Mariners in his next start which isn't a bad matchup at all, and he remains a solid starting option throughout all leagues with his strikeout capabilities
