6/10:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell continued to be the ace of the staff in 2018. Snell went six innings Saturday versus the Mariners. He did only record one strikeout but he earned the win and ended the eight-game losing streak for the Rays. He did hit the first batter of his career in his 57th start. Snell has been the Rays best pitcher this season with his record now is 8-3 with a 2.30 ERA. He is only 25 years old but already had 218 1/3 innings pitched in the majors going into 2018. The most obvious strength of Snell's young career has been his 217 strikeouts coming into the season, showing that he is a power pitcher that can make a difference in fantasy lineups. He seemed like a fourth or fifth starter for fantasy coming into the season but is currently vastly outperforming that.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
