5/9:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell threw another gem in the loss Tuesday versus the Braves. He went 6 1/3 innings, allowing just one run, though his strikeouts were underwhelming at five. He now has a 2.40 ERA on the season and has allowed more than two runs only once in eight 2018 starts. Snell just recently turned 25 years old but already had 218 1/3 innings pitched in the majors going into 2018. The most obvious strength of Snell's young career has been his 217 strikeouts coming into the season, showing that he is a power pitcher that can make a difference in fantasy lineups. He seemed like a fourth or fifth starter for fantasy coming into the season but is currently vastly outperforming that.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
