2 months agoLos Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum had a limited role in the team's 20-15 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite head coach Sean McVay's positive comments about Corum earning more opportunities earlier in the week, the rookie logged just three carries for 11 yards. Each of the carries by the third-round running back occurred consecutively at the beginning of the second quarter. After that brief appearance, the Rams leaned heavily on Kyren Williams for the remainder of the game to secure the win. Corum may see increased opportunities when the team is in more favorable situations, which could begin next week against the Minnesota Vikings with star wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) expected to return. Managers in need of running back depth should continue to stash Corum on their benches, as his role could expand in the coming weeks.--Nathan Brunet - RotoBaller
