7 years agoThe Kansas City Royals officially assigned outfielder Billy Burns to the minors on Sunday. Burns isn't expected to play an active role with the team this season unless a variety of injuries occur, but his speed means he could see a call-up to act as a pinch runner and fourth outfielder.
