With the 60th pick in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft, the Minnesota Twins selected third baseman Billy Amick out of the University of Tennessee. Amick, 21, slipped past his ranking as the 32nd-best prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and could wind up being a steal for the Twins. The third baseman helped lead the Volunteers to their first College World Series victory this past season. The scouting report on Amick is that he can consistently barrel balls and hits with strong contact, despite having an aggressive approach which should lead to some good power moving forward. On paper, Amick looks like he has all the workings of a future big-leaguer.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBallerRead More News
