Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop (knee) has agreed to waive the no-movement clause in his contract. That move will allow the club to expose him in the upcoming expansion draft. The veteran goalie missed the entire 2020-21 season while recovering from injuries, including knee surgery. When healthy, Bishop is one of the best goaltenders in the NHL. He has a career .921 save percentage in parts of 11 seasons. In his last healthy season back in 2019-20, he had a .920 save percentage and 2.50 GAA. He has two years remaining on his current contract with a cap hit just shy of $5 million. The injury and financial commitment will likely keep Seattle from plucking him in the expansion draft and it will allow the club to protect fellow goaltender Anton Khudobin.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
