Colorado Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog (knee) will miss the 2023-24 regular season, but the team hopes to get him back for the playoffs. "We're hoping," Avalanche general manager Chris MacFarland told The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun when asked about Landeskog possibly returning for the playoffs. "There's still so much that needs to be gleaned in this, so it's hard to put a timeline on it." The Avalanche captain has had multiple knee surgeries in recent years and already sat out the 2022-23 campaign. With Landeskog missing, Artturi Lehkonen saw a boost in playing time last season, and Jonathan Drouin could be the big beneficiary this time around as he's set to be reunited with junior teammate Nathan MacKinnon on Colorado's top line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
