Arturs Silovs Makes Fourth Consecutive Start For Canucks
7 months agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Arturs Silovs will make a fourth consecutive start in Game 1 against Edmonton on Wednesday. He took over the crease when Thatcher Demko (knee) and Casey DeSmith were injured at the start of the postseason. DeSmith is now back in the fold, but Demko remains out week-to-week. Most recent reports suggest that the Canucks No. 1 won't be ready to return until Game 5 of the series at the earliest. Silovs impressed in Round 1 against Nashville, winning two of three starts with one shutout, a 1.70 goals-against average, and a .938 save percentage.
