Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub (upper body) has been activated from Injured Reserve and looks set to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's matchup against New Jersey. He's sat out the past nine games while dealing with an upper-body ailment. The Russian rearguard skated with Erik Brannstrom in Friday's practice, and the team has reassigned Nikita Zaitsev to the AHL, which is a further sign that Zub is game-ready again. The 27-year-old isn't rostered in many fantasy leagues, but he's been a big presence for Ottawa on the defensive side of things with 27 hits in seven games and the team has clearly missed him, losing seven of the games he hasn't been able to play.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
