Montreal Canadiens goaltender Antti Niemi made 21 saves on 24 shots for a .875 save percentage in the 4-3 win over the New York Islanders. Niemi had a rough first period, the period in which he allowed all three of his goals during that game. However, after that, he locked down the fort and stopped every shot including all the shootout attempts. Niemi's record improves to 3-1-0 on the season with a 3.13 GAA and a .893 SV%. He won't get much starts behind Carey Price, however, is proving to be a solid backup Montreal can rely upon and will be a streaming candidate when he starts.--Caden
