Ottawa Senators goaltender Anton Forsberg stopped 25 of the 27 shots he faced en route to defeating the Nashville Predators on Monday evening. The Predators opened the scoring in the second frame when left wing Filip Forsberg found the back of the net on a wrist shot. Later in the third, Forsberg would surrender his second goal of the evening, this time on the power-play to Jonathan Marchessault. The 32-year-old shut the door for the remainder of the game to earn the victory. This was a nice bounce-back for Forsberg, as even though he won his last start, he allowed four goals in that outing. Over his previous six games, the former seventh-round selection holds a 4-1 record with a .923% SV and a 2.16 GAA. Forsberg will continue to operate as the No. 2 option behind Linus Ullmark, who was recently activated off long-term injured reserve.--Andy Smith
