Anthony Rizzo Drives in Lone Cubs Run Tuesday
7 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Rizzo got off to a terrible start this season that included a disabled list stint for a back injury. His season slash line is up to .250/.353/.420 to go along with eight home runs and 39 RBI. In the last 30 days, however, Rizzo is slashing .326/.442/.543 with four home runs, 25 RBI, 14 runs scored and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 11:19. Rizzo and the Cubs lineup are hot right now despite the one run on Tuesday, and he should continue to produce elite numbers. The second base eligibility does not hurt also.
