Anthony Rendon Extends Playoff Hitting Streak To Eight
5 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly in the Nationals triumphant win over the Cardinals in Game 4 of the NLCS. The Nationals are headed to the World Series and Rendon has been a huge reason why they're heading there. The soon-to-be free agent has an eight-game hitting streak in the playoffs, going 12-for-26 (.461) with one home run, four doubles, seven runs batted in and seven runs scored during that span. Rendon caps off the NLCS hitting .417 and will be a force to be reckoned with in the World Series.
