Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards (knee) could return to action as soon as this Saturday against the Detroit Pistons, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. On March 17, the team announced that Edwards had been diagnosed with right knee inflammation and would be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks. Currently, he is considered day-to-day. Edwards missed a fifth consecutive game on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets. Minnesota has gone 4-1 without him but will be desperate to get its star man back. If Edwards' return doesn't come on Saturday, he will likely be good to go on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.--Taavi Pailk
