Another Huge Day For Austin Meadows
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI, one runs scored, and a stolen base. Meadows continues to be a great asset for fantasy owners and his three weeks on the injured list might be the only thing holding him back from the early AL MVP race. Either way, he’s up to eleven home runs with six stolen bases and a slash of .351/.426/.679. The pace he’s on may not be sustainable, even though he should remain extremely productive. If your fantasy team has a surplus of outfielders with good power and speed, now might be the time to sell high to fill a weakness. He shouldn’t have trouble with the Blue Jays or Twins pitchers for the rest of the week. He shouldn’t be on fantasy benches anyway.
