Andy Pages Finishes June With 11 Homers At High-A
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers prospect Andy Pages went 2-for-4 with a home run on Wednesday at High-A. He also walked and drove in four runs. The 20-year-old outfielder now has 16 home runs in 50 games this season. Pages leads both levels of A-ball in homers with the next closest player, Griffin Conine, at 15. The Dodgers' young slugger hit 19 home runs in 63 games in Rookie ball back in 2019 before the pandemic wiped out the 2020 season. He will likely always post high strikeout rates but he's showing some maturity by trimming his whiff rate from 28% in 2019 to 25% so far in 2021. He also has an 11% walk rate. Pages has a 145 wRC+ at High-A despite skipping over Low-A ball entirely. He's a player worth monitoring closely in dynasty league formats.
