Andrei Vasilevskiy recorded a shutout on Wednesday to help the Tampa Bay Lightning claim the Stanley Cup championship title. The lone goal was scored by 24-year-old rookie Ross Colton. The Lightning organization has now won back-to-back titles. Vasilevskiy was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP although teammate Nikita Kucherov also had an outstanding run in the playoffs. The 26-year-old goaltender now has an NHL record with five consecutive series-clinching shutouts. In the playoffs, he had a 1.90 GAA and a .937 save percentage. Vasilevskiy was also excellent in the regular season and finished with a 2.21 GAA and a .925 save percentage. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
