Carolina Hurricanes right wing Andrei Svechnikov (upper body) will remain sidelined on Tuesday evening when the Hurricanes host the Nashville Predators. Svechnikov has missed the previous six contests due to this injury. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Friday evening against the Montreal Canadiens. Before his injury, Svechnikov was riding a five-game scoreless streak. However, before this minor skid, the 24-year-old tallied nine points (three goals) over his last eight contests. Through 63 games this season, Svechnikov has scored 18 goals and added 25 helpers, with 17 of his points coming on the power play. While he remains out, Taylor Hall should continue to see time on the second offensive line.--Andy Smith
