Andre Drummond Puts In Massive Performance In Rare Start
10 months agoChicago Bulls center Andre Drummond notched 17 points and rocked the glass with 26 rebounds in Wednesday's 132-123 double-overtime win against the Cavaliers. Drummond made his 10th start of the campaign as Chicago tried to counter Cleveland's big frontcourt. He added three blocks and an assist to his big double-double, finishing with 8-for-12 shooting in 36 minutes. It was Drummond's ninth career game with at least 25 rebounds, which is the most in the NBA since 2000. He's now averaging 14.1 points and 17.9 rebounds as a starter this season. This was a vintage Drummond performance, but he's set to head back to the bench for the next matchup, and it might take a while until we see him in full flow again.
