New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov (illness) will not be in the starting lineup on Tuesday evening against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Romanov is battling an illness. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status leading up to their next contest on Thursday evening against the Montreal Canadiens. Before this illness, Romanov was riding a seven-game scoreless streak. During this stretch, Romanov logged 19 hits and 21 blocked shots with a -2 rating. Before this skid, Romanov tallied nine points (four goals) over his last 13 games. During this span, Romanov averaged an impressive 3.4 blocked shots per game. While Romanov is sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Adam Pelech to return to the starting lineup. --Andy Smith
