4 months agoRussian winger Alexander Barabanov will head back to the KHL for the upcoming campaign after signing a two-year contract with Ak Bars Kazan. The 30-year-old finishes his NHL career with 32 goals and 107 points in 206 games. Barabanov, who won the KHL championship a couple of times with SKA Saint Petersburg before moving to North America, had a couple of solid campaigns with the San Jose Sharks but struggled on the team, like most players, in 2023-24. Health issues limited him to 46 games last season, and he finished with four goals and nine assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
