1 month agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Alex Wood struggled in a 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Wood allowed five runs (four earned) over five innings of work. He struck out six and walked one in the outing. Wood's record drops to 1-2 to go along with a 5.92 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings of work. He missed most of the season with a back issue and continues to try to shake the rust off. Wood is worth owning in National League-only formats and in deeper mixed leagues.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
