2 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin (upper body) is a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against Florida. He wasn't on the ice Saturday morning and could now also be unavailable in the evening. In some sense, it would even be surprising if Ovechkin played, because Washington has no hopes of getting into the playoffs and there's no need to play him if he's not fully healthy. The veteran superstar did all he could to help the team reach the postseason by scoring 42 goals and delivering 32 assists in 72 games, but it wasn't enough in a very competitive Eastern Conference.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
